My Approach to Therapy
I am passionate about helping people navigate life’s biggest challenges. I work to meet people where they are and embrace the complexities they bring into the room. I support my clients through a cognitive-behavioral lens to help detangle the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to distress. It emphasizes collaboration between the therapist and client to address patterns that keep you feeling “stuck”. Through the structure of CBT, I then integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches to complement your needs.
In our sessions, we will focus on identifying a clear foundation to begin or continue your healing journey. My goal is to empower you with practical tools you can use to improve your functioning and quality of life. Whatever your presenting concern is, I strive to create a safe environment that is warm and engaging.
Other Approaches I Use
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Interpersonal Therapy
Motivational Interviewing
Person-Centered Therapy
Strengths-Based Therapy

At this time, I do not accept insurance. I am happy to provide a super bill for out-of-network reimbursement. I am looking to panel with a few insurance companies in the near future.

To make therapy accessible to everyone, I offer a few sliding scale slots. Please contact me to inquire about current sliding scale openings.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have or aren't using insurance an estimate of the expected total charges for any non-emergency healthcare services services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask any health care provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Be sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
