Attend the consultation! We’ll discuss what you’re hoping to get out of services and assess if we’re a good fit. Once we decide this, we will get your first therapy session scheduled!

During our consultation, I invite you to focus on whether you feel comfortable, understood, respected, and seen.
It’s important to me that you find a therapist you feel safe around from the beginning!

Before our first session, I will send you the Intake forms via your client portal. I will need you to complete these before attending our first session!
I would also like you to reflect on what you’d like to get out of therapy (i.e. set better boundaries with myself, process my experience with trauma, etc.)

Typically, the first session begins with some brief administrative information and allows time to answer any questions you may have about the Intake forms. Other than that, the majority of time will be spent getting to know you and what is bringing you into therapy. I like to go at your pace, which means this may carry over into our second session.
